Shanghai Set up Special Funds to Encourage Volunteers Behaving Righteously

Shanghai Municipal standing committee held an interpretation meeting of “Shanghai social security comprehensive management regulations (Draft)” on July 13. The draft regulations proposed that the city set up special funds to be used for the personal insurance and incentives for those behave righteously.

It is introduced by Shanghai social security comprehensive management committee’s responsible person that at present, Shanghai decided the 10th of each month as a “rewarding and publicizing day for those behave righteously” in Shanghai. Meanwhile, the municipal and district comprehensive management sectors will raise special funds for the volunteer behavior through government appropriation, social donations and other legal means. They will reward and protect the righteous deeds of those brave volunteers by means of purchasing uninscribed personal accident insurance, etc.
