Terms and Conditions for Visitors to World Expo 2010 Shanghai China
Welcome to the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China (hereinafter referred to as“Expo 2010”). In order to protect the legitimate interests and rights of visitors and ensure a safe and orderly visit, the organizer of Expo 2010 (namely, the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, hereinafter referred to as“the Organizer”) has formulated these Terms and Conditions.
Article 1 Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions are applicable to all visitors to Expo 2010, including those who enter the Expo Site with valid tickets and children at or below 1.2m at the time of entry, who are eligible for free admission.
Article 2 Operation Time
The operation time of the Expo Site shall be 9:00 ~ 24:00. The opening hours of the pavilions shall be 9:30 ~ 22:30.
Visitors shall enter the Expo Site before 21:00 and leave before 24:00 on the day of admission. Those with evening admission tickets may enter the Expo Site between 17:00 and 21:00.
Article 3 Orderly Entry
Visitors shall go through ticket pre-check, security check and ticket verification in an orderly fashion before entering the Expo Site. Those who refuse to cooperate may be denied entry by the Organizer.
For the purpose of public health and disease prevention and control, the Organizer may conduct necessary health examination on visitors entering the Expo Site.
Visitors with special admission tickets are required to present a valid ID at the time of ticket verification (see Annex hereto for types of valid IDs).
Children eligible for free admission and other visitors with mobility difficulties may only enter the Expo Site when accompanied by adults. Those under the influence of alcohol and the persons suffering from mental disorders are not allowed to enter.
Article 4 Prohibited Articles
In addition to explosive, flammable, radioactive and other hazardous items as well as articles prohibited by applicable laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, visitors are not allowed to carry into the Expo Site any of the following articles:
(i) beverages in hard or soft packages, alcoholic drinks or any other liquids; with the exception of liquid milk products for babies and liquid medicines needed by patients, both of which can be carried in an appropriate quantity;
(ii) lighters, matches or other devices for ignition;
(iii)banners, posters, billboards, leaflets or any other promotional items;
(iv) motorcycles, light motor vehicles, bicycles, electric bicycles, motorized wheelchairs, scooters, skateboards, roller-blades, or similar tools for travel, with the exception of baby carriages, and manual or electric wheelchairs;
(v) animals, with the exception of guide dogs and other service animals;
(vi) delta wings, paragliders, hot air balloons, model airplanes, kites, or any other flying objects;
(vii) radio-controlled toys, walkie-talkies, or any other radio transmission equipments; or
(viii) any other items that may upset other visitors, or cause bodily injury or property damage to other visitors, or disturb the public order or security within the Expo Site.
Article 5 Exhibitions and Performances
Visitors may visit pavilions and watch performances in the Expo Site at no additional charge, unless otherwise specified by the Organizer or the Participants.
The Organizer and the Participants reserve the right to adjust the schedules, venues and contents of exhibitions or performances, provided that prior notice is given.
Article 6 Reservation
Visitors may make reservations in accordance with applicable rules for those pavilions and events that provide reservation services, and shall enter pavilions or event venues with their valid reservation vouchers through designated passages within the specified time period.
Article 7 Codes of Conduct
Visitors are required to observe public order within the Expo Site, and shall queue up to enter the pavilions or event venues. Visitors shall also comply with relevant rules of the Expo Site, pavilions and event venues and the instructions of the staff.
In the Expo Site, visitors are prohibited from:
(i) damaging any buildings, facilities or exhibits;
(ii) climbing over any buildings or fences;
(iii) vending or performing without permission;
(iv) conducting any exhibitions or promotional or fundraising activities without permission;
(v) smoking where it is not allowed;
(vi) behaving in a way that is explicitly prohibited by public signs; or
(vii) conducting any other activities that may upset or cause bodily injury or financial loss to other visitors, or disturb the public order and security within the Expo Site.
Article 8 Video or Audio Recording and Photography
Visitors are required to comply with the rules for video or audio recording and photography in the pavilions and event venues. They shall not behave in any way that may interrupt the exhibitions and performances, or disturb other visitors.
The Organizer and the Participants are entitled to videotaping, photographing and audio recording in the Expo Site and using the videos, photos and recordings thereof, including the images of visitors.
Article 9 Special Management Measures
In the case of adverse weather, high visitor density, technical problems and any other particular conditions, the Organizer and the Participants may adopt temporary measures to restrict the entry of visitors into the Expo Site, pavilions or event venues, or to evacuate visitors from the Expo Site, pavilions or event venues. Under such circumstances, relevant information shall be published by the Organizer in time.
Visitors are required to behave in accordance with the relevant information published by the Organizer and follow instructions of the staff.
Article 10 Visitor Services
Visitor Service Centers are available in the Expo Site, providing visitors with a range of services, including inquiries, rental, lost and found, first aid, mother-baby service, and assistance for lost persons. The centers also accept and process visitors’complaints (service and complaint hotline: +86-21-962010).
The Expo Site is equipped with wheelchair-accessible facilities. Video Sign language and free rental of wheelchairs are available for the disabled.
Article 11 Applicable Laws and Languages
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, and are available in five languages, namely, Chinese, English, French, Japanese and Korean. In case of any discrepancies among the different versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
The Organizer reserves the right to interpret and amend these Terms and Conditions.
Article 12 Effective Period
These Terms and Conditions shall be effective between May 1, 2010 and October 31, 2010.
These Terms and Conditions shall be applicable during the soft operation of Expo 2010.

欢迎参观中国2010年上海世界博览会(下称“上海世博会”)。为了保护参观者的合法权益,维护安全、有序的参观环境,上海世博会组织者(即上海世 博会事务协调局,下称“组织者”)制定本须知。
第一条 适用对象
所有上海世博会参观者,包括持上海世博会门票进 入园区的参观者,以及入园时身高1.2米以下(含1.2米)的免票儿童,均应遵守本须知。
第二条 园区运行时间
园区的通常运行时间为9:00至24:00,园内展馆的通常开放时间为9:30至22:30。
参观者应在21:00前入园,并于入园当日24:00前离开园区。夜票参观者的入园时间为17:00至21:00。
第三条 有序入园
参观者应依次排队,经预检、安全检查和门票查验后进入园区。参观者不接受检查的,组织者可拒绝其入园。
为公共卫生和疾病防控需要,组织者可对进入园区的参观者采取必要的健康检测措施。
门票查验时,持优惠票的参观者须同时出示相关有效证 件,具体证件类型见本须知附件。
免票儿童及行动不便的参观者应由成年人陪同入园参观。醉酒人员及精神异常人员谢绝入园。
第四条 禁带物品
除中国法律法规禁止的爆炸性、易燃性、放射性等危险物质、管制器具等物品外,参观者不得携带下列物品进入园区:
(一)软硬包装饮料、酒精饮品等液态物品,但婴儿所需的液态奶制品、疾病患者所需的液态药品可随身适量携带;
(二)打火 机、火柴等点火器具;
(三)横幅、标语、广告牌、传单等宣传物品;
(四)代步工具,包括摩托车、助动车、自行 车、电动自行车、机动轮椅车、踏板车、滑板、带轮鞋等,但婴儿车、手推轮椅、电动轮椅除外;
(五)动物,但导盲犬等服务类动物除外;
(六)三角翼、滑翔伞、热气球、航空模型、风筝等可升空物品;
(七)无线电遥控玩具、对讲机等无线电发射设备;
(八)其他可能妨碍他人参观、造成他人人身伤害或财产损失、扰乱园区秩序和危害园区安全的物品。
第五条 观展和观演
除组织者或参展者另有规定外,参观者可进入园区内各展馆参观、观看园区内的文化演艺活动,无需另行支付费用。
组织者和参 展者可对展示和文化演艺活动的时间、场地、内容进行调整,但应及时发布相关信息。
第六条 参观预约
对于提供预约 服务的展馆和文化演艺活动,参观者可按相关预约规则进行预约,并应在预约时段凭预约证明从指定通道进入展馆和活动场所。
第七条 文明参观
参观者须遵守公共秩序,依次排队参观展馆、观看文化演艺活动,并遵守园区、展馆和活动场所的有关规定,听从工作人员的引导。
参观者不得在园内从事下列行为:
(一)损毁建筑、设施和展品;
(二)攀爬建筑,翻越围(护)栏;
(三)未经许可进行商业销售和表演;
(四)未经许可进行各类宣传、展示和筹资;
(五)在指定吸烟区 外的其他场所吸烟;
(六)违反禁止性标识要求的行为;
(七)其他可能妨碍他人参观、造成他人人身伤害或财产损 失、扰乱园区秩序和危害园区安全的行为。
第八条 摄像、摄影、录音规则
参观者应遵守各展馆和文化演艺活动有关摄 像、摄影、录音的规定,避免因摄像、摄影、录音而妨碍展览和文化演艺活动的正常进行,或影响他人的正常参观。
组织者和参展者可在园区 内摄像、摄影、录音,使用摄像、摄影、录音的照片、图像、视频或音频记录等,并可使用参观者肖像。
第九条 特别管理措施
在恶劣天气、人流密集、技术故障等特殊情况下,组织者和参展者可临时限制参观者进入园区、展馆、活动场所,或对园区、展馆、活动场所内的参观者进行疏 散,并及时发布相关信息。
参观者须根据组织者和参展者发布的相关信息和工作人员的现场引导,配合采取应对措施。
第十条 参观服务
园区内设立参观者服务点,为参观者提供信息问询、物品租赁、失物招领、医疗急救、母婴服务、走失人员协助等服务,并 受理参观者投诉(服务及投诉电话:+86-21-962010)。
园区内为残疾人士提供无障碍设施,并提供视频手语和手推轮椅免费借 用等服务。
第十一条 法律适用和语言
本须知适用中华人民共和国法律,以中文、英文、法文、日文、韩文五种语言制 定。不同语言文本间如有冲突,以中文文本为准。
组织者可对本须知进行解释和修订。
第十二条 有效期
本须知有效期自2010年5月1日起至2010年10月31日止。
上海世博会试运行期间参照适用本须知。
附 件:上海世博会优惠票适用对象及证件类型
残疾人士:中国残联、民政部门、军队颁发的残疾人证,或其他相关有效证件
1950年12月31日及之前出生的老年人:有效身份证件
普通高等教育阶段、高中教育阶段和义务教育阶段的学生:有效学生证或能够 证明学生身份的证件
入园时身高超过1.2米的儿童:有效身份证件
中国现役军人:军队颁发的有效军官证、军队文职 干部证、士官证、士兵证或学员证
