If you go to those “food court” or small restaurant (not in downtown area), it shall cost less than RMB 10 (~USD 1.5). Instand noodles (with the bowl) costs around RMB 3-5/bowl. And even if you go to those chained restaurant in center of the city, it might just cost aroun RMB 30.
Min (monthly) wage: I’m positive the min wage (monthly) is over RMB 1000 in Shanghai.
Yes, a bowl is roughly around RMB15-20, is definitely the most expensive city in China. But the place is around the same as if u have a bowl of noodle in Taipei, Hong Kong or in Singapore.
15rmb, depend on which restaurant. instant cup noodles cost even cheaper, just add hot water and wait 10 mins. yes, those that sweep the floor earn lesser.
